Leaving Friday for a week in SD

Shooting dogs. 17 Mach IV, 223 AI, 6 BR, 220 Swift AI. 1800 rounds this year. Looks like rain on Monday out there according to weather.com. Keep our fingers crossed.

Have a good time Mike and a safe trip.

I have a Mike Dewey trigger on the way for my open sight XP. Just don't like the stock trigger after using Dell Taylors, so I thought I would try a Dewey this time.

Have a great time mowing down those little prarie poodles!!!! Make sure to post pics of brass piles and body parts. I would say good luck hunting but we all know it's all about shooting.

Had to cancel. Daughter was in hospital for pneumonia and a heart problem. Maybe later this year.

Still waiting for the Childrens Hospital in Milwaukee to call. They call and you go, no appointments. Did go doggin last week with my son and partner. Towns were heavily shot and dogs were educated. Wind was 45 mph, no rain though. Left Tuesday and came home on Saturday. Between the boy and I we shot 700 rounds, not sure how many my friend shot. This is way down from last years 1900 rounds by just me. Will go earlier next year. BTW, boy is hooked and had a great time.

We went out on the 4th and came back on the 9th. That blast of weather that made the tornado hit us on the evening of the 2nd day, so we stayed in Thurs. Wind blew all day 25mph, dried out the fields.

Friday was great. All told between the 2 of us for 3 days we shot 2500 rounds. Would have been less if we were trying for average, but just can't resist those difficult chancy shots.

Trying to find a decent price on HDY 40 gr VMAX, prices are a lot higher than last time I bought. Anyone knowing where a good deal is, let me know.
